Legacy Corporate Lending appointed Ronnie Sussman as executive vice president, portfolio and underwriting. Sussman will work closely with Legacy’s originations team and will be responsible for conducting the underwriting process and structuring and closing new transactions.

Sussman brings to Legacy more than 25 years of ABL experience, with an emphasis on underwriting, portfolio management and business development. Most recently, Sussman served as senior vice president, underwriting at Zions Bancorporation, underwriting ABL loan transactions for all seven regional affiliate banks under the Zions corporate umbrella. Previously, she was a senior underwriter at Sterling National Bank working on middle-market ABL and lender finance transactions. Over her career she has held underwriting and marketing roles in the asset-based finance groups of EverBank, National City Bank, LaSalle Bank, GMAC and factoring groups at several non-bank lenders.

“We are excited to have an accomplished executive of Ronnie’s caliber join our leadership team,” Paul Martin, chief investment officer of Legacy, said. “We look forward to leveraging her deep expertise in evaluating and structuring complex transactions as we continue to build out a diversified ABL platform focused on providing our clients with flexible, innovative funding solutions that meet their evolving business needs.”
