Pathward, a national bank focused on financial access, has appointed DJ Krystopa as managing director of business development. Based in Philadelphia, Krystopa joins Pathward’s working capital business development team, supporting efforts across the mid-Atlantic and Northeast regions of the United States. She is responsible for originating and structuring asset-based lending transactions for lower- and middle-market companies.

“We are excited to welcome DJ to the team,” Rich Flamang, senior managing director of business development at Pathward, said. “Her decade of experience in factoring and asset-based lending, an established referral network and a deep understanding of the market make her a strong addition as we continue supporting businesses with flexible financing solutions.”

Krystopa has held multiple positions in working capital finance, including most recently with eCapital. She holds a bachelor of science in business administration from LaSalle University in Philadelphia and is active in several industry associations including the Turnaround Management Association, the Secured Finance Network and the Association for Corporate Growth.

“We’re thrilled to have DJ join Pathward and expect her to be a contributor to the team’s success,” Zach Martin, vice president of commercial finance business development at Pathward, said.
