CHICAGO — Kevin A. Krakora, senior managing director at Getzler Henrich & Associates LLC, has been named a Fellow of the American College of Bankruptcy, an honor recognizing significant contributions to the field of bankruptcy and insolvency.

Krakora is part of the 36th class of inductees, selected through a competitive, invitation-only process that evaluates professional accomplishments, scholarship, and service to the profession. The new class will be formally inducted during the College’s annual meeting in March 2025 in Washington, D.C.

With more than three decades of experience in corporate turnarounds, financial restructuring, and operational improvement, Krakora has advised underperforming companies and served in executive roles including CEO, chief restructuring officer, and independent director. His industry experience includes automotive, manufacturing, healthcare, and transportation.

“Kevin’s induction into the American College of Bankruptcy reflects his deep experience in restructuring and his commitment to the profession,” said William H. Henrich, co-chairman of Getzler Henrich.

Krakora is a Certified Turnaround Professional and a former president and chair of TMA Global, a professional association for corporate renewal specialists.

The American College of Bankruptcy is a nonprofit association that brings together leading insolvency professionals from the United States and abroad.
