KORE Capital Helps Government Technology Firm Accelerate Growth with $5MM Working Capital Facility

The flexible financing solution supports continued innovation, contract execution and long-term growth.

KORE Capital announced the success of its financing relationship with a growing government technology firm, demonstrating how flexible working capital can help businesses continue investing in innovation while supporting ongoing operations.

The company, an established provider of IT services and technology solutions to government customers, had built a strong reputation for delivering mission-critical solutions while making significant investments in new automation and artificial intelligence capabilities. As those investments accelerated, the business required additional working capital to support day-to-day operations while continuing to execute under existing contracts.

Recognizing both the company’s long-term potential and the need for a larger financing solution, the firm’s existing banking partner referred the opportunity to KORE Capital.

KORE Capital structured a customized $5 million accounts receivable-based credit facility with advances against both billed and earned-but-unbilled receivables, creating immediate liquidity while aligning financing with the company’s government contract performance and operating cycle.

The transaction included the successful payoff of the company’s previous lending facility and was completed on an accelerated timeline, allowing the company to maintain vendor relationships, support payroll and operating expenses, and continue pursuing new opportunities without interruption.

Since the relationship began, KORE Capital has financed more than $20 million in customer invoices, providing consistent access to working capital that has supported the company’s continued growth and operational stability.

“KORE Capital works closely with banks to provide flexible financing solutions when businesses outgrow traditional lending structures,” said Melanie Brown, portfolio manager at KORE Capital. “This company had a strong foundation, an experienced management team, and meaningful opportunities ahead. Our role was to provide the working capital necessary to help management remain focused on serving its customers and executing its growth strategy.”

“This transaction reflects what specialty finance should accomplish,” Brown added. “Businesses investing in innovation and growth shouldn’t have to slow their momentum because their financing no longer matches where the company is today. We help bridge that gap so management can stay focused on building the business.”
