Kapwork Supercharges Factoring with AI-Driven Workflow Automation

New platform features streamline operations and reduce risk, accelerating capital deployments for factoring companies.

Kapwork, an AI platform for factoring, has announced major updates to its flagship Kapwork Verify platform designed to transform the factoring process with enhanced speed and efficiency. The company’s new features include an Email Verification Agent and a centralized user interface that provides real-time status of all invoices without requiring manual reconciliation.

Factoring has traditionally relied on manual processes to manage invoice operations, exposing companies to high costs, inefficiencies, and vulnerabilities. From fraud and credit risks like misdirected payments and fake invoices to the risk of capital loss during payment reconciliation, the industry loses billions annually. Kapwork’s technology directly reduces these risks by bringing transparency, speed, and improved accuracy to factoring operations.

The platform’s new Email Verification Agent automatically extracts and aggregates transaction statuses from emails into a comprehensive central view. A process that typically required 1-2 days of manual input now takes seconds, with new, pending, and settled transactions displayed for real-time portfolio management.

Kapwork is also introducing a centralized UI that reconciles data across multiple sources including email, vendor portals, and internal systems. The platform can alert users to new invoices available for purchase and detect anomalies to reduce fraud risk.

According to Oscar Rombola, International Factoring Association Canada President, “Factoring has reached the point where real-time automation, AI, and cloud workflows are no longer optional. Early adopters are already funding clients within hours, trimming back-office costs, and tightening fraud controls—without adding headcount.”

The company will be showcasing the platform at the International Factoring Association (IFA) Annual Conference, May 7–9, 2025.
