Holland & Knight strengthened its financial services team with the addition of Patricia “Tricia” Duffy as a partner in Washington, D.C. Duffy represents sponsors, equity investors, developers and lenders in the development, construction and financing of energy and infrastructure projects, including solar, wind, battery storage, hydroelectric and other renewable energy projects. She was most recently at Latham & Watkins.

“We are thrilled to welcome Tricia to our financial services team in Washington, D.C. Her experience in guiding clients through government-backed finance programs will strengthen our capabilities in energy and infrastructure financing,” Cindy Brazell, co-chair of the firm’s financial services team, said. “Holland & Knight is an industry leader in helping companies secure government funding and financing for energy transition and clean technology projects. Tricia’s addition reflects our ongoing commitment to providing our clients with comprehensive support in this extremely active and essential sector.”

Duffy also has experience advising lenders on a variety of cross-border project finance transactions in emerging markets. She serves as an adjunct professor at Georgetown University Law Center, where she teaches a course on international business transactions.

“I am excited to join Holland & Knight and contribute to the firm’s impressive track record and success in energy and infrastructure financing,” Duffy said. “I look forward to collaborating with my new colleagues to help our clients navigate the complexities of financing and developing projects that are shaping the future of energy.”

Duffy earned a J.D. degree from Vanderbilt University Law School and a B.A. degree from Davidson College. She is admitted to practice law in the District of Columbia and New York.
