Great Rock Capital Adds Sundal as Senior Originator in Southeast Market

Scott Sundal has joined Great Rock Capital, an asset-focused commercial finance company specializing in middle market lending, as a managing director of originations. Sundal will be responsible for expanding the firm’s origination efforts in Florida, Kentucky, Tennessee and across the Southeast region.

“We are happy to welcome Scott to the team,” Stuart Armstrong, CEO of Great Rock Capital, said. “His extensive asset-based lending experience and strong sponsor relationships in the Southeast will help us continue our growth trajectory in this important market.”

Sundal joined Great Rock with 25years of experience in middle market lending. Most recently, as a director at BMO Harris, he was responsible for originating and managing relationships in asset-based lending across the Southeast. Earlier in his career, Sundal spent more than 15 years in origination, underwriting and portfolio positions at Wells Fargo Capital Finance and Wachovia Capital Finance.

“I am thrilled to join the Great Rock team to broaden their success across the Southeast region,” Sundal said. “I look forward to leveraging my relationships and industry experience to help middle market companies in this region benefit from the liquidity and growth capital provided by the firm’s creative financing structures.”
