The team from Impulse Strategic Solutions, a healthcare IT consulting firm, has joined Grant Thornton Advisors’ AI, data and technology practice, strengthening its tech strategy solutions offering. The incoming team is helping Grant Thornton Advisors expand its capabilities in a fast-growing industry.

“Grant Thornton Advisors is expanding our capabilities and striving to provide tailored expertise for our clients,” Tom Puthiyamadam, managing partner of advisory services for Grant Thornton Advisors, said. “We’re eager to work with the team coming from Impulse to expand these capabilities as consolidation, regulation and market demand impact the healthcare landscape.”

Current Grant Thornton Advisors clients will gain access to leading industry practitioners as the firm works to expand its capabilities.

“Our mission has always gone beyond technology or advisory services; it’s about improving patient care,” Scott Collins, a partner at Grant Thornton Advisors and former CEO of Impulse, said. “Joining Grant Thornton Advisors ensures we can bring our same relationship-driven approach to a broader range of health systems from enterprise hospitals to rural community health.”
