Gibraltar Business Capital (GBC) closed an asset-based revolving credit facility for KMM Group, a vertically integrated precision contract manufacturer. The financing supports the acquisition of KMM by private equity firm RS2 Healthcare Partners and the company’s next stage of growth.
RS2 Healthcare Partners invested in KMM to support the company’s next phase of growth while preserving continuity for customers, employees and partners. The transaction also brings experienced leadership to KMM, including president and CEO J. Mark King, former CEO of Tegra Medical, a previous RS2 Healthcare Partners’ portfolio company.
“With RS2’s investment and Gibraltar’s financing in place, we have capital partners to pursue KMM’s growth initiatives,” King said. “Gibraltar understood what we’re building and designed a solution to support that vision.”
Scott Winicour, CEO of GBC, added, “Every business has a different story behind the numbers, and understanding that story matters when you’re structuring capital. With KMM, we saw an established business with deep manufacturing capabilities and an experienced sponsor with a clear plan for its future. We built the facility around both.”
