Geier Joins Peapack-Gladstone as SVP, Special Assets

Kenneth R. Geiger joined Peapack-Gladstone Bank as senior vice president, Special Assets.

Working from the bank’s headquarters in Bedminster, NJ, Geiger’s primary role includes managing various workout situations and processes for the bank. Responsibilities also include managing the workout portfolio, recommending risk rating changes and impairment levels to executive management, negotiating with borrowers, developing workout strategies, assisting with policy and procedure updates and other credit-related matters.

Geiger has 25 years of banking experience, previously serving as special assets director at Capital One Bank where he was responsible for portfolio management, sales and restructuring. Prior to that, he served as vice president of Special Assets and Portfolio Management at The CIT Group and vice president and portfolio manager at Merrill Lynch Global Bank Group, as well as in similar roles at Bank of America and FleetBoston Financial.

Peapack-Gladstone Financial is a New Jersey-based bank holding company with total assets of $4.27 billion and assets under management and/or administration of $5.7 billion as of June 30, 2018.
