Gateway Trade Funding, a provider of purchase order finance and stretch finance solutions, recently provided more than $4.7 million in stretch finance facilities across 15 transactions, helping businesses throughout the United States and Canada access the capital needed to fulfill orders, purchase inventory, manage cash flow and pursue new growth opportunities.

The recent transactions span a wide range of industries and financing needs, from a gourmet food company preparing to fulfill more than $500,000 in holiday orders to a logistics company securing $2 million in additional capital.

Recent stretch finance transactions completed by Gateway Trade Funding included:

  • A New Jersey logistics and warehousing company secured a $2 million term loan facility to provide additional capital to support its operations.
  • Gateway provided a $500,000 term loan facility to a New York commercial lighting products company. The financing will help the company fund purchase orders and place orders with vendors.
  • A Wisconsin medical technology company received a $350,000 stretch finance facility to strengthen working capital and support ongoing operations.
  • Gateway funded a $300,000 stretch finance facility for a Rhode Island outdoor furniture company. The financing was used to pay off existing debt, improving the company’s overall financial flexibility.
  • A Nova Scotia, Canada radio dispatch hardware and software company secured a $250,000 stretch finance facility to increase working capital and provide greater financial flexibility.
  • A British Columbia, Canada blind manufacturer received a $250,000 stretch finance facility to support working capital needs related to accounts receivable and inventory.
  • Gateway provided a $200,000 stretch finance facility to a Texas technology company specializing in encoders and decoders. The financing will support operating expenses as well as the development of new services and channels utilizing AI and cloud solutions.
  • A Texas fashion jewelry and accessories company received a $150,000 stretch finance facility to strengthen working capital and support ongoing operations.

  • A Georgia entertainment company secured a $150,000 stretch finance facility to stabilize cash flow and bridge timing gaps between paying suppliers and receiving customer payments.
  • A Manitoba, Canada food manufacturer specializing in wild rice and wild rice blends received a $145,000 line of credit facility to fund a purchase order with Costco Northwest.
  • Gateway provided a $125,000 term loan facility to a Wisconsin natural cleaning products company to provide additional capital for ongoing business needs.
  • A Virginia off-road vehicle retailer secured a $60,000 Stretch Finance facility to support purchase order financing needs.
  • An Ontario, Canada gourmet food basket company received a $56,000 stretch finance facility to help fulfill more than $500,000 in holiday basket orders. The financing will support inventory purchases and staffing expenses associated with assembling and fulfilling the seasonal orders.
  • Gateway funded a $50,000 credit split facility for a Texas manufacturer of low-calorie, low-carb, plant-based pasta and rice products. The financing provided additional working capital to support ongoing operations.

“These transactions show just how different the need for working capital can look from one business to the next,” Mark Polinsky, principal of Gateway Trade Funding, said. “For one company, it may be a large order or an inventory purchase. For another, it’s bridging a timing gap or creating more flexibility in their cash flow. Stretch finance allows us to look beyond a one-size-fits-all approach and provide capital based on what the business needs to keep moving forward.”
