Darryl E. Mazow has joined FBT Gibbons as a partner in its corporate law practice group in Houston, further expanding the firm’s transactional and private equity capabilities serving middle market businesses and investors nationwide.

“Darryl will be a transformational addition to our corporate practice as emerging and established company transactions grow in complexity and scale,” Ken Bullock, Houston office partner-in-charge for FBT Gibbons, said. “He brings deep experience in private equity, debt finance and complex corporate transactions, coupled with leadership roles spanning law, finance and operations, enhancing our ability to deliver integrated, business-focused counsel across Texas and nationally. We’re thrilled to have him join FBT Gibbons.”

Mazow brings more than 20 years of experience advising family-owned and founder-led companies, as well as private equity and debt investors, on complex transactions and strategic initiatives. His background spans private practice, in-house leadership, investment management, and executive operations, giving clients a practical, business-centered perspective. He advises companies, owners and investors on mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructurings, private equity and debt financings, governance matters and general corporate issues. His industry experience includes food and beverage, consumer packaged goods, online retail, business services, aviation services, manufacturing, financial services and software.

“Having spent my career as a lawyer, investor and operator, I’m drawn to firms that truly understand how businesses grow and evolve,” Mazow said. “FBT Gibbons combines sophisticated legal capabilities with a deep appreciation for the real-world challenges facing founders and management teams. I’m excited to join a platform that supports clients not just through transactions, but through every stage of their growth.”
