Evolution Credit Partners Management, an alternative credit investment manager, appointed Nancy Karpf as managing director, capital formation, strengthening the firm’s investor engagement and fundraising capabilities. Karpf joins managing director Mary Parrinelli on Evolution’s growing capital formation team.

In her new role, Karpf will co-lead fundraising initiatives across the firm’s platform, with a focus on expanding relationships with institutional investors, family offices and private wealth channels.

“We are thrilled to welcome Nancy to Evolution as we focus on building out our capital formation team,” Michael Guarnieri, co-founder and managing partner of Evolution, said. “As private credit continues to fill gaps left by traditional lenders and investor demand for differentiated credit strategies grows, Nancy’s extensive experience and strong investor relationships, paired with Mary’s expertise and deep network, create a powerful team that will accelerate our fundraising efforts and support the continued growth of our credit platform.”

Karpf brings more than two decades of experience in alternative investment fundraising and investor relations. Most recently, she served as a managing director at Davidson Kempner Capital Management, where she spent more than 16 years focused on marketing and investor relations across the firm’s multi-strategy, credit and real estate platforms. She previously held a business development role at Och-Ziff Capital Management, and she began her career at Goldman Sachs in the investment banking and asset management divisions.

“I am excited to join Evolution at such an important stage in the firm’s growth,” Karpf said. “Evolution’s differentiated investment approach, track record and collaborative culture make the firm uniquely positioned to deliver value to investors. I look forward to working closely with the team to build on the firm’s momentum.”

Parrinelli, who joined Evolution in 2024, is also responsible for expanding the firm’s investor base across both new and existing relationships. She previously served as a managing director at Eagle Point Credit Management, where she focused on capital formation from 2022 to 2024 and also held a senior business development role at Angelo Gordon.
