Dechert recently advised Quest Diagnostics on a definitive agreement to acquire select assets of Fresenius Medical Care’s wholly owned Spectra Laboratories.
Under a separate agreement that Dechert also advised upon, Quest will provide comprehensive laboratory services related to end-stage kidney disease and specialized water testing for patients and providers served by dialysis centers operated by Fresenius Medical Care and its wholly owned and joint-venture partners in the United States.
The Dechert team advising Quest was led by corporate partner Michael Darby and included associates Gurbir Sandhu and Joy Zhu.
