D.A. Davidson has hired Timothy Monfort as managing director of Equity Capital Markets in its New York office. Monfort will oversee the capital markets and syndicate teams, responsible for origination and execution of capital raises for D.A. Davidson clients.

Prior to joining D.A. Davidson, Monfort was head of Equity Capital Markets for Seaport Global Securities in New York. His extensive experience in the securities industry also includes positions at Morgan Stanley, Hambrecht & Quist and head of Equity Capital Markets at Jefferies.
