Crescent Capital Group LP, a leading alternative credit investment firm, has announced the appointment of Jason Breaux as Head of Private Credit. In this role, Breaux will lead the firm’s private credit business and focus on platform-wide growth, expanding investment capabilities, and continuing to elevate the Crescent brand.

Breaux will continue in his roles as Chief Executive Officer of Crescent Capital BDC, Inc. (NASDAQ: CCAP) and Chair of the Board of Crescent Private Credit Income Corp. (CPCI). He will report to Christopher Wright, President of Crescent, who will remain focused on leading the firm’s overall strategic direction.

Breaux brings more than 24 years of investment experience at Crescent, along with deep institutional knowledge and a proven track record in launching and managing registered, cross-platform funds. Since 2015, he has served as Chief Executive Officer of CCAP, Crescent’s publicly traded BDC, which has nearly doubled in size since listing on NASDAQ in 2020. In 2023, Breaux was instrumental in the launch of CPCI, Crescent’s continuously offered non-traded BDC.

Mark Attanasio and Jean-Marc Chapus, Co-Founders and Managing Partners of Crescent, expressed confidence that Breaux’s deep expertise in credit, combined with his clear vision for the future, ensures that Crescent remains well-positioned in the rapidly expanding private credit market.
