Eastern Bank has appointed Theresa Conroy as senior vice president and commercial banking relationship manager, the company announced.

Conroy brings 20 years of experience in commercial and industrial lending, with a focus on regional and middle market companies.

She most recently served as senior relationship manager in the Middle Market Division at Needham Bank. Her background includes structuring commercial loans, credit analysis, business development and portfolio management.

Conroy has also held positions at TD Bank and Santander Bank, providing services such as lending, cash management, deposits and foreign exchange to clients throughout Greater Boston.

“Theresa takes the time to understand her clients’ needs, is strongly committed to customer relationships, and brings deep knowledge of our community,” said Greg Buscone, executive vice president and chief commercial banking officer at Eastern Bank.

A Babson College graduate, Conroy also holds an MBA from Boston College’s Carroll School of Management. She has served on the board of MassEcon and the American Cancer Society’s Cancer Action Network, and volunteered as a mentor with the Big Sister Association of Greater Boston for 12 years.

Eastern Bank, founded in 1818, operates more than 110 locations across Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island and Connecticut. As of Dec. 31, 2024, the bank reported approximately $25.6 billion in assets.
