Global law firm Clifford Chance has hired private equity partner Andrea Gede-Lange to its private equity practice, adding further U.S. capability to its global private capital offering.

Joining from Fried Frank, Gede-Lange brings 20 years of experience representing private equity firms, investors and public and private companies in domestic and cross-border transactions, including leveraged buyouts, stock and asset acquisitions and divestitures, carve-out transactions, joint ventures and recapitalizations.

“Welcoming Andrea enhances our position as trusted and established advisors, delivering for private equity clients in every region,” Jonny Myers, global head of private equity, said. “Her extensive experience in the United States strengthens our ability to meet growing client needs locally and globally across the full private capital life cycle.”

“I look forward to joining Clifford Chance and contributing to a dynamic, collaborative and truly global team,” Gede-Lange said. “The firm’s growth and impactful work being done across the U.S. makes this an inspiring time to join.”

Gede-Lange joins recent private equity arrivals David Schultz and Vince Ferrito in New York, as one of 13 new partner hires, including in London, Paris and Singapore over the past 18 months.
