NEW YORK — Global law firm Clifford Chance has hired Reuven Falik as a partner in the firm’s US Tax, Pensions and Employment (TPE) group, strengthening its domestic executive compensation offering. Falik will also serve as Co-Chair of the US Executive Compensation practice alongside senior counsel Howard Adler.

Falik brings more than 20 years of experience advising a wide variety of clients in transactional matters, including private and publicly held corporations, with respect to the executive compensation and employee benefits issues arising in mergers sales and other acquisitions, dispositions and initial public offerings.

He regularly provides guidance on compliance with ERISA, tax, corporate, federal and state securities laws and other laws and regulations affecting employee benefit plans, programs and arrangements, including advising clients on compensation and benefits issues unique to bankruptcy and restructuring transactions.

Global Practice Area Leader for TPE Pablo Serrano de Haro said, “With Reuven joining our team, we will fortify our ability to guide clients through the complexities of compensation planning and regulatory compliance in tax matters both in the US and globally. His presence will allow Clifford Chance to offer an unparalleled globally integrated service to address multinational compensation arrangements. I’m eager to collaborate with him to further build our outstanding team.”

Paul Seraganian, Americas Practice Area Leader for TPE said, “We are excited to welcome Reuven to Clifford Chance. His addition will enhance our executive compensation and ERISA offerings, further strengthening our regional platform. His deep understanding of structuring and implementing complex compensation arrangements will be a tremendous asset to clients in managing legislative updates affecting tax obligations and retirement benefits, while providing strategic guidance on restructuring plans.”

Falik said, “I’m thrilled to join Clifford Chance and contribute to the growth of our US practice. I look forward to collaborating with our talented global teammates to expand our offerings and deliver exceptional service to our clients.”
