Clear Mountain Bank hired Chris Morris as commercial banking executive. In his role, Morris will be responsible for guiding commercial relationship growth, which will include leading, coaching and supporting the bank’s commercial lending production team.

Morris brings to Clear Mountain Bank more than 20 years of banking experience, working extensively in commercial relationship development, portfolio management and financial analysis. Most recently, Morris served as vice president and director of commercial lending for a regional bank serving clients in Morgantown and the surrounding area.

Morris is a graduate of Fairmont State University and West Virginia University, with a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree in business administration. Morris has been involved with numerous community organizations throughout his career and currently serves on the board of directors for North Central WV Community Action, Mylan Park Foundation and the United Way of Monongalia and Preston Counties.

“Chris brings with him a wealth of knowledge and experience about commercial banking and the local markets we serve,” David M. Thomas, president and CEO of Clear Mountain Bank, said. “The bank and its commercial lending team are extremely fortunate to have him leading the charge as we continue to build great relationships with business customers.”
