Citizens Capital Markets & Advisory today announced the addition of Michael McHugh to its Digital Infrastructure team. McHugh joins Citizens as a managing director and will serve as a trusted advisor to clients in the growing Data Center Services segment. He will report to Adam Lewis, head of Citizens’ Digital Infrastructure practice.
“Mike is an industry veteran with a strong reputation and deep sector expertise,” Lewis said. “He has a proven track record of helping corporate clients and financial sponsors execute transactions. We are excited to welcome him to Citizens as we continue to expand our capabilities around Data Center Services.”
McHugh joins Citizens from Q Advisors and brings more than 25 years of experience in the Media and Communications sector. He previously led the Media and Communications teams at both B Riley Securities and Matrix Capital Markets, and has held senior investment banking roles at Waller Capital, MCG Capital and GE Capital.
McHugh’s hire bolsters a Citizens Digital Infrastructure team of 30+ employees. To date, the team has completed more than 210 transactions totaling over $60 billion in aggregate value.
