Citizens Capital Markets & Advisory added Doug Brockway to its technology investment banking team as a managing director leading the firm’s cybersecurity and infrastructure software practice.
Based in Boston, Brockway brings more than 35 years of investment banking experience and has advised clients on more than 125 mergers and acquisitions and capital raising transactions throughout his career. He will work alongside Salil Kapoor, a vice president on the cybersecurity and infrastructure software team, and report to Kevin McClelland, head of technology investment banking at Citizens.
The addition expands Citizens’ coverage of the cybersecurity and infrastructure software sectors, strengthening the firm’s ability to advise clients operating in two of the most active and strategically important areas of the technology market.
“Doug is a highly regarded advisor with deep experience serving cybersecurity and software companies,” McClelland said. “His expertise, industry relationships and transaction experience further enhance our ability to support clients across the technology sector.”
Brockway joins Citizens from Stephens, where he founded the firm’s Boston investment banking office and led their cybersecurity software investment banking practice. He previously held technology investment banking roles at firms including ThinkEquity and Stifel.
