Cascadia Capital, an investment bank serving middle-market clients globally, appointed Connor Owens as chief financial officer.

In this role, Owens will oversee finance, strategic planning, human resources, technology and operations, supporting Cascadia’s expansion. Based in Cascadia’s Austin office, his leadership will focus on enhancing the firm’s capabilities, streamlining processes and delivering exceptional service to clients and partners.

Owens brings a decade of financial and operational expertise to Cascadia. He recently served as a vice president at Great Hill Partners, a Boston-based growth equity firm, where he focused on investments within the financial services and technology industries. Prior to that, he worked at Atlas Merchant Capital in New York, where he reviewed and invested in businesses across the financial services ecosystem. Owens began his career in investment banking at J.P. Morgan in New York. He is a certified financial accountant Charterholder and holds a bachelor of science in Finance from Bentley University.

“Connor’s deep expertise in finance and strategic planning, coupled with his strong track record of driving growth and efficiency, make him an outstanding addition to our leadership team,” Michael Butler, chairman and CEO of Cascadia Capital, said. “His oversight will further strengthen our operational foundation and help us advance initiatives aimed to better serve our clients with precision, reliability and excellence. We’re thrilled to welcome him aboard.”

“I’m honored to join Cascadia Capital as chief financial officer,” Owens said. “This is an exciting time for the firm, and I’m eager to contribute to its growth and evolution. Cascadia’s talented team, strategic vision, and commitment to excellence set it apart in the industry. I look forward to building on its momentum to ensure we continue providing outstanding results for our clients and partners.”
