Caltius Structured Capital is pleased to announce the recent closing of a debt and equity investment in Laguna Hills, CA-based Strategic Kids, LLC. The financing will be used to support the growth of the business as the Company deepens relationships with existing schools and adds new schools and districts to its roster.

Founded in 2013, Strategic Kids provides after-school enrichment and school staffing services to districts, charter schools and private schools in California, Colorado and Washington. The Company’s enrichment programs, coaches and paraeducators (special education aides and general instruction aides) augment teachers and staff at schools and school districts. These services improve the outcomes for students, parents and schools the Company supports.

Together, Caltius and Strategic Kids‘ leadership team seek to further build on the Company’s reputation for providing high quality enrichment and after-school programs and paraeducator staffing services to its customers, while further broadening its customer base and geographic footprint.

Graham Brockington and Andy Morrow will be joining the Company and serve on the leadership team of Strategic Kids, providing operating, financial, technology and recruitment expertise in support of the Company’s growth efforts. Co-founder, Adam Brody, who led the Company since its founding, will continue to remain active in the business as President of Strategic Kids.

“We are extremely pleased to have Caltius supporting Strategic Kids as our partner,” said Graham Brockington. “With their help, we intend to execute a value creation plan that includes making further investments in Strategic Kids‘ already impressive capabilities, further improving the experience for the Company’s customers and students.”

“Under Adam’s leadership, the Company has established an outstanding reputation for providing its services within its existing markets. With the addition of Graham and Andy to Strategic Kids, the Company is well positioned to execute on its growth initiatives,” stated Gavin Bates, Managing Director of Caltius. “We are proud to support the entire Strategic Kids management team in the Company’s next chapter of growth.”
