Buchalter Elevates Eight Attorneys to Shareholder

The new shareholders are Sarah Andrzejczak, Brandon Carr, Devan McCarty, Chadwick McCombs, Jarret Osborne-Revis, Alexandra “Alex” Shulman, Khaled Tarazi and Kripa Upadhyay.

Buchalter promoted eight attorneys to shareholder.

Sarah Andrzejczak, a shareholder in the firm’s Denver office, is a member of the firm’s litigation and labor and employment practice groups. She is a commercial litigator and trusted adviser to companies facing employment and other business-related issues in Colorado. She has counseled businesses across a number of industries, including hospitality, technology, marketing, accounting, design and construction.

Brandon Carr in the firm’s San Francisco is a member of the firm’s litigation practice group. Carr handles cases in virtually every area of complex high-stakes litigation, including, contract claims, intellectual property claims (expertise in trade secrets), real estate disputes, business disputes and matters designated as complex (including, class actions and coordinated actions). He represents start-ups to Fortune 100 companies to government agencies across a wide range of industries, including, grocery, national clothing retailers, real estate, financial institutions, technology and transportation companies.

Devan McCarty is a member of the litigation and healthcare practice groups in Buchalter’s Sacramento office. His clients include hospitals, hospital systems, trauma centers, physician groups and emergency department physicians. He represents health care clients in a wide range of disputes involving reimbursement of health care services, including disputes arising out of hospital system and health plan managed care contracts, leased network PPOs and administrative services contracts.

Chadwick McCombs is a shareholder in the firm’s corporate practice group based in its Los Angeles Office, with expertise spanning corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, start-up ventures and private equity. In his mergers and acquisitions practice, McCombs represents buyers and sellers in facilitating middle-market sale transactions, with clients ranging from private equity firms to closely held family businesses.

Jarret Osborne-Revis is a member of the litigation and insolvency and financial practice groups in the firm’s Sacramento Office. He regularly represents business entities (including corporations, limited liability companies, limited partnerships and unincorporated associations), financial institutions, private lenders and individuals in commercial litigation matters and insolvency proceedings.

Alexandra “Alex” Shulman is a shareholder and a member of the firm’s labor and employment and litigation practice groups in Seattle and Portland. She focuses her practice on representing businesses in complex and high-exposure employment disputes and providing strategic advice to keep her clients out of the litigation crosshairs.

Khaled Tarazi, a shareholder in the firm’s Scottsdale office, is a member of the insolvency and financial law practice group. He advises clients on complex restructuring and insolvency matters, including Chapter 11 reorganizations, out-of-court workouts, distressed asset transactions and creditor/debtor negotiations. He represents a broad range of stakeholders, including secured and unsecured lenders, creditors’ committees, corporate debtors, fiduciaries, landlords, investors and equity holders.

Kripa Upadhyay’s practice, based out of the firm’s Seattle Office, intersects immigration, corporate/business law, foreign direct investment and international trade compliance. She has expertise in guiding corporate clients and individual investors through the complex web of laws and regulations related to immigration to the United States.
