Bow River Capital Adds Podwill to Investment Team

Podwill has more than a decade of private market sourcing, underwriting and monitoring experience and will join Bow River’s evergreen fund investment committee as a voting member.

Bow River Capital, a Denver-based alternative asset manager, is expanding its evergreen private equity team with the addition of Erick Podwill as a director.

“We are thrilled to welcome Erick to our growing team,” Jeremy Held, managing director at Bow River Capital, said. “Erick brings a wealth of private market expertise, strong relationships and underwriting experience in the lower middle market, an important focus of our strategy.”

Podwill joins Bow River from Canterbury Consulting, where he was the chair of the firm’s private capital and fund of fund research committees, in addition to managing investment selection for Canterbury’s private equity fund of fund strategy. Prior to joining Canterbury in 2018, Podwill was with Aksia Torrey Cove Capital Partners, where he performed due diligence primarily on private equity, growth equity and venture capital investments. Podwill has more than a decade of private market sourcing, underwriting and monitoring experience and will join Bow River’s evergreen fund investment committee as a voting member.
