BOK Financial added Jonathan Renken as the new business development officer on the asset-based lending team. Renken joins the company with more than 20 years of commercial banking experience, including leadership roles in relationship management, treasury solutions, syndications and asset-based lending. Most recently, he served as senior vice president and senior relationship manager for global banking and markets at Bank of America, where he worked with middle-market and large corporate clients across a variety of industries.

Throughout his career, Renken has developed expertise in commercial lending, asset-based finance, syndicated transactions and relationship management. His background includes serving as a syndications product specialist with Bank of America Business Capital, treasury solutions officer in global commercial banking and senior relationship manager supporting complex commercial banking relationships.

“Jonathan brings a strong combination of asset-based lending knowledge, commercial banking expertise and relationship management experience to our team,” Ryan Birnel, executive director of asset-based lending for BOK Financial, said. “His proven ability to develop and maintain long-term client and referral relationships will be a tremendous asset as we continue to grow.”

As part of the asset-based lending team, Renken will be responsible for developing and managing middle-market asset-based lending opportunities while working closely with company operators, capital providers, advisors and BOK Financial’s corporate banking teams across the company’s footprint.

“I am excited to join BOK Financial and be part of a team known for its client focus, expertise and commitment to delivering flexible financing solutions,” Renken said.
