BNP and AXA Investment Managers Sign $3.5B Acquisition Deal

Together with AXA, BNP Paribas’ Cardif insurance business signed a $5.4 billion deal for the purchase of AXA Investment Managers, according to Bloomberg.

The report says this deal is aimed at strengthening BNP’s management of long-term saving assets as AXA exits the asset-management business.
