B. Riley Securities, a middle market investment bank, served as exclusive financial advisor to the special committee at Via Renewables, an independent retail energy services company, in the acquisition of the company by a corporate entity owned by William Keith Maxwell III, CEO and chairman of the board. B. Riley also conducted a “go shop” process consistent with the terms of the transaction agreement.
