Aurora Promotes Two Professionals to Managing Director

Greg Baker, based in Denver, and Matt Dossey, based in Tampa, have both served as deputy restructuring officers, financial advisors and deputy federal and state receivers to both public and private companies in and out of court.

Aurora Management Partners promoted Greg Baker, based in Denver, and Matt Dossey, based in Tampa, to managing directors.

“Greg and Matt have been integral to the firm’s growth and reputation during their tenure with the firm,” David Baker, managing partner of Aurora, said. “We are delighted to promote them to managing directors, roles in which I am confident they will prosper in facilitating their respective markets and prioritize client success.”

Greg Baker joined the firm in 2016 in the Atlanta, Georgia office. He currently resides in Denver, CO with his family and is in charge of the Rocky Mountain and Western United States markets. During his time at Aurora, he has been involved with clients in industries including agriculture, consumer products, flooring, oil and gas, quick-serve restaurants and wood products.

Matt Dossey joined Aurora in 2017 in the Atlanta office. He currently resides in Tampa, FL with his family and oversees the Florida, Georgia and Southeast markets. While at Aurora, he has worked with clients in industries including automotive, hospitality, life sciences, metal manufacturing, restaurants and senior living.

Both have served as deputy restructuring officers, financial advisors and deputy federal and state receivers to both public and private companies in and out of court. Additionally, both Baker and Dossey have worked on expert witness cases and clients requiring SEC reporting or interim management.
