The American Factoring Association (AFA) elected Ryan Jaskiewicz as its new board president. Jaskiewicz previously served as an AFA board member for seven years.

“We are looking forward to Ryan’s expertise and contributions to the AFA,” Tania Daniel, executive director of the AFA and International Factoring Association, said. “He has been a valued contributor to the AFA board and brings a wealth of experience in financial services to the role.”

Jaskiewicz is president of structured finance at Climate First Bank, leading the bank’s efforts to develop and grow its structured finance offerings. He has nearly twenty years of experience in building and leading financial services firms. Throughout his career, Jaskiewicz has specialized in developing tailored financing solutions, efficient systems and transparent processes to help businesses grow. His passion for cultivating a positive, mission-aligned culture has been a key differentiator in his leadership and team building approach.

“It is a privilege to serve as the new President of the American Factoring Association,” Jaskiewicz said. “The industry has given me so much over my career, including relationships, opportunities and lifelong lessons, and I am excited to give back by helping our members thrive. I look forward to strengthening our advocacy for the factoring community and ensuring our voices are heard as we grow stronger. I would also like to thank outgoing President Robyn Barrett for her outstanding leadership and dedication. I am grateful to build on the foundation she has helped create.”
