A&M Taxand Partners with Tax Technologies

Alvarez & Marsal Taxand entered into a strategic partnership with Tax Technologies. The partnership is intended to streamline A&M’s support services and centralize its tax data management and industry expertise in order to maximize value for customers.

Ernesto Perez, global practice leader of A&M Taxand and the firm’s Global Transaction Tax Advisory Practice, commented, “Tax professionals today are facing more changes and demands than ever before, particularly in light of the recent tax reform. As they are navigating these changes, this partnership offers cutting-edge technology, backed by our team of seasoned tax experts, that will increase efficiency and ensure regulatory compliance.”

The joint solution will utilize TTI’s software and data management capabilities in order to produce accurate tax results through automating calculations, simplifying analyses, streamlining reporting and centralizing tax data for future uses. The software will also:

  • Create a reliable and defendable base of calculations – required for reporting all current tax computations (and updated to cover Toll Charge, GILTI, BEAT, FDII, 163(j), etc.)
  • _x000D_

  • Calculate and track multiyear tax attributes through proven mechanisms
  • _x000D_

  • Simplify forward-looking planning scenarios by leveraging centralized data and technology
  • _x000D_

  • Increase efficiencies related to managing complex data by plugging into existing platforms and automating the process
  • _x000D_
