Alvarez & Marsal appointed three new managing directors in its Healthcare Industry Group. Kristina Park and Doris Stein will be based in Washington, D.C., while Ken Barrette will be based in Boston.

“These three talented professionals bring several decades of collective experience across a spectrum of healthcare clients, including international organizations, commercial and government health plans and innovative start-up companies,” said Martin McGahan, the practice leader of A&M’s Healthcare Industry Group. “We are excited to leverage their significant healthcare knowledge and experience to help our clients meet the industry’s evolving challenges and opportunities.”

Park brings more than 25 years of healthcare consulting expertise to her new role and is an industry leader in business transformation and analytics across the healthcare market. Prior to joining A&M, she was a founding member of a global management consulting firm where she ran the organization’s West region business. She was also a director in Navigant’s Healthcare Strategy and Operations practice and worked in consulting at Accenture, Ernst & Young and McKinsey.

Stein is a leader in delivery system innovation and has led strategic market expansion planning and execution. Prior to joining A&M, Stein was a founding member and healthcare industry lead for a global consulting firm. She also served as the Consumer Engagement director at WellPoint/Lumenos and as a consultant at Navigant and Ernst & Young.

Barrette has assisted clients with operational issues, including mergers and integration, sales, general and administrative expenses improvement, new product and market performance and technology strategy and enablement. Before joining A&M, he was the founding member of a global consulting firm, held business operations leadership roles with CareFirst Blue Cross Blue Shield and worked in consulting for Sapient (now SapientRazorfish) and Keane (now Keane NTT).
