Tim Roberts has joined AlixPartners as a managing director in the firm’s Digital practice. He is based in London and will focus on advising clients globally, with a special focus on the financial services industry.
Roberts brings more than three decades of experience as a senior consultant and business leader in strategy, technology, and risk with deep knowledge across financial services as well as other regulated industries. More recently, he has been focused on working in cyber security and in fintech.

He joins AlixPartners from IBM Security, where he led a global consulting practice focused on cyber security strategy, risk, and compliance. Prior to that he was COO of Ignis Asset Management and a senior partner at McKinsey, where he led the firm’s UK financial services practice and co-founded the global risk practice.
