Access Capital Supplies $1.15MM in Financing to Scribe-X

Access Capital replaced Scribe-X’s bank and became its financial partner by providing a revolving credit facility of $850,000 and a term loan of $300,000 to the company.

Scribe-X is a Portland, OR-based provider of medical scribe services to the healthcare industry. Medical scribes provide real-time clinical documentation to medical professionals.

“We are seasoned medical staffing executives with multiple startups and exits and never worked with a more entrepreneurial team. We felt a bit like we walked into the ‘Twilight Zone’ in that they created a truly customized solution for our company’s needs and wants,” Warren Johnson, CEO of Scribe-X, said. “The value Access Capital provides was reinforced when talking with their references. Each company had clear examples of how Access Capital supported them through various challenges in their business cycles. This became far too real for us when COVID-19 reduced our revenue by nearly 80% in just two weeks. Access Capital was unwavering in their commitment to act quickly on creative solutions to address our needs during a time of great uncertainty.

“We have found Access Capital to be quickly accessible and transparent in all their communication and promises. It has been one of the best choices we have made in the life of our business and we are very excited to work with them as our business grows… they are a trusted business partner.”

Access Capital is a lender to staffing enterprises and provides asset-based lending and acquisition financing.
