Rosenthal Capital Group (RCG), a private commercial finance firm in the United States, completed three recent ABL transactions totaling $9.5 million, originating from the firm’s West Coast office.

A California-based minority-owned skincare brand selling to major retailers and direct-to-consumer channels was exploring alternative financing solutions to replace their existing bank financing. As a seasonal business with fluctuating revenue, the company was looking for financing to support their unique working capital requirements and future growth plans. RCG provided a $3.5 million asset-based loan facility on the company’s AR and inventory.

A Colorado-based wellness company with a portfolio of popular nutritional supplement brands was seeking non-dilutive financing facilities to complement funding from its private equity sponsor. Selling primarily to grocery retail partners, distributors and direct to college and professional sports teams, management wanted a new financing partner who understands the complexity and challenges of the CPG space and has the ability to scale with the business. RCG provided a $4.5 million asset-based loan on AR and inventory, helping the client transition from factoring and increasing the company’s borrowing capacity.

A California-based pawn shop had historically been financed internally but was growing rapidly through a combination of acquisitions and organic growth and required outside financing to support its multi-location operation. RCG was introduced by an existing client and provided a $1.5 million asset-based facility on pawn loan AR to support the company’s growth plans.

“These three transactions are a great reflection of what we do best: leveraging the breadth of our offerings and the depth of our expertise to provide our clients with thoughtful, customized financing solutions,” Ying Yang, senior vice president and director of business development at RCG, said. “We also understand the need to balance the individual capital needs of growing brands with the importance of maintaining the working capital they need to run their businesses effectively.”
