David Ebroon, assistant general counsel at J.P. Morgan, has been named a Fellow of the American College of Commercial Finance Lawyers (ACCFL). The honor recognizes Ebroon’s significant contributions to the field of commercial finance law and his commitment to advancing scholarship and best practices within the industry.
Ebroon serves on the Commercial and Investment Banking legal team at J.P. Morgan, where he is the head of Legal for both Mid-Corporate and Capital & Advisory Solutions. In these roles, he oversees legal support for clients with revenues ranging from $100 million to $2 billion. His purview within Capital & Advisory Solutions includes five key business groups: Asset-Based Lending, Equipment Finance, Syndicated Finance, Financial Sponsors/Direct Lending, and ESOP Advisory.
Admission to the ACCFL is a distinction reserved for individuals who have achieved preeminence in the discipline and demonstrated sustained contributions to the promotion of learning in commercial finance. The ACCFL Board of Regents and Executive Committee unanimously approved Ebroon’s nomination during its March 4 meeting.
In addition to his work at J.P. Morgan, Ebroon is an active member of the American Bar Association’s Banking Law Committee, currently serving as Vice-Chair of the Lending Subcommittee. He is a frequent speaker and author on complex commercial finance topics.
Ebroon will be formally inducted into the College during a ceremony on Saturday, April 18, 2026, at The Carter Center in Atlanta.
