Moritt Hock & Hamroff Welcomes New Associates Lazarides and Tomaro

Eleni M. Lazarides focuses her practice on all facets of complex real estate matters. Alexander Tomaro concentrates his practice in all facets of complex corporate-related matters.

Moritt Hock & Hamroff (MH&H), a New York-headquartered commercial law firm, added attorneys Eleni M. Lazarides and Alexander Tomaro in the firm’s Garden City office. Lazarides joins Moritt Hock & Hamroff’s real estate practice while Tomaro joins the firm’s corporate, M&A and securities practice.

“We are thrilled to welcome Eleni and Alexander to our highly experienced and growing team of attorneys,” Michael Cardello III, managing partner at Moritt Hock & Hamroff, said. “Their arrival underscores our firm’s ongoing commitment to attracting exceptional legal talent and we look forward to their continued growth and success at MH&H.”

Lazarides focuses her practice on all facets of complex real estate matters. The scope of her practice is diversified, and includes acquisitions, dispositions, joint ventures, real estate finance transactions and ground lease transactions. She represents both lenders and borrowers in connection with mortgage and mezzanine debt and complex refinancings and restructurings. Lazarides also has extensive experience representing clients in all phases of commercial and residential lease transactions including retail landlords and tenants. Prior to joining the firm, Lazarides was an attorney at a prominent AmLaw 100 firm.

Tomaro concentrates his practice in all facets of complex corporate-related matters including mergers and acquisition transactions, corporate restructurings, private placements, financings, refinancings and business and employment agreements. He also represents clients in the drafting and negotiating of complex business contracts and agreements, including asset and stock purchase agreements, operating and shareholder agreements and joint venture arrangements. Prior to joining the firm, Tomaro was an attorney at a mid-size law firm on Long Island.
