Fuchs Rejoins CohnReznick as Financial Services Audit Partner

Based in New Jersey, Richard Fuchs has expertise leading assurance engagements for a variety of alternative investment firms including broker-dealers, hedge funds, venture capital, private equity and special purpose acquisition companies.

Richard Fuchs has rejoined CohnReznick, a professional services firm, as an audit partner in its financial services industry practice. Based in New Jersey, Fuchs has expertise leading assurance engagements for a variety of alternative investment firms including broker-dealers, hedge funds, venture capital, private equity and special purpose acquisition companies (SPACs). Having also served as office managing partner for a previous firm, Fuchs has deep experience in both operations and management.

In his role as audit partner, Fuchs provides a wide range of accounting and audit services to the alternative investment community. He helps clients meet strict reporting and regulatory compliance obligations, including those needed to address SEC and FINRA Rules and Regulations. Fuchs also has experience conducting a range of employee benefit plan audits.

Fuchs most recently served as an assurance partner in the financial services practice of a Top 25 firm. Prior to that, he was an office managing partner and assurance partner, financial services industry, for another large firm.

Fuchs earned an MBA degree, professional accounting, from Rutgers University and a B.S., psychology, from Sacred Heart University.  A Certified Public Accountant, he maintains membership in the New Jersey Society of CPAs, the New York State Society of CPAs and the AICPA.
