National accounting and advisory firm, Weaver, added Dawn Williford, CIA, as a partner in its governance, risk and compliance (GRC) practice. Based in Houston, she brings more than 25 years of experience in risk advisory, internal audit and compliance.

With Big Four and other national accounting firm experience, Williford has supported clients across energy, oil and gas, manufacturing, franchising and entertainment, with risk assessments, internal audit outsourcing and co-sourcing, SOX readiness, SOX compliance and contract compliance. John Mackel, CEO and managing partner at Weaver, added, “Adding Dawn to our partnership reflects Weaver’s long-term strategy to grow our advisory platform nationwide. Her ability to align risk and compliance services with broader business goals positions us to capture new opportunities and expand our impact across key markets.”
