VSS Capital Partners, a private investment firm investing in the healthcare, business services and education industries, hired Jason Adams as principal. Adams will take a lead role in sourcing new investment opportunities, performing due diligence and supporting portfolio company management teams to help drive value creation.
“We’re excited to welcome Jason to VSS. Jason’s broad industry experience, including working closely with founder-owned businesses and tech-enabled business services is well aligned with our firm’s approach to investing. He will be highly additive to VSS’s continued growth within our target verticals,” Jeffrey Stevenson, managing partner at VSS, said. “We look forward to continuing to build out VSS’s investment team with talented professionals who support our ability to pursue the robust set of opportunities in North America’s lower middle-market.”
In addition to his valuable industry experience, Adams brings a strong network of relationships to VSS. Prior to joining the firm, he was a principal at BV Investment Partners, where he was responsible for creating, owning and driving diligence planning, process strategy, seller communication and document negotiation. Before that, Adams served as vice president at GreyLion and associate at Amberjack Capital Partners. Adams began his career at HSBC Securities as a mergers and acquisitions analyst where he advised on several notable acquisitions during his tenure.
“I am excited to join VSS and bring my deal execution experience to a highly respected lower middle-market focused firm known for their collaborative partnership approach to working with portfolio companies,” Adams said.
Adams earned his BA in economics and English from Boston College and his MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
