Haversine Funding, a leader in the commercial lender finance sector, is proud to announce that Farrah Vargas has joined the firm as Senior Director, Portfolio Management, effective this August. In this key leadership role, Vargas will oversee portfolio strategy and performance while also working closely with factors and commercial lenders to identify growth opportunities, streamline operations, and add measurable value across our ecosystem.

Farrah brings nearly 20 years of experience in specialty finance, with a proven track record of helping scale portfolios, improving processes, and building meaningful relationships. She most recently served as Senior Vice President at Advantage Business Capital, the factoring and ABL division of Central Bank. Prior to that, she held senior roles at Axiom Bank, formerly Allied Affiliated Funding, working alongside several current members of the Haversine team.

Her professional achievements reflect her influence and leadership in the industry. Vargas was named one of ABF Journal’s 2024 “Top Women in Specialty Finance”, selected for SFNet’s “Top 40 Under 40” honors, and was a finalist for Addison Magazine’s Top Female Executive Award.

“It’s a full-circle moment,” said Vargas. “I’ve worked with several members of this team before, and we built incredible momentum together. Joining Haversine allows me to return to those roots, now with a broader platform and greater opportunity to influence strategy, operations, and drive impact. I’m excited to help shape the next chapter.”

Genevieve Parikh, Co-CEO at Haversine, shared: “We are thrilled to welcome Farrah to Haversine. Her reputation precedes her. She’s a systems thinker, a process optimizer, and a relentless value creator. We know firsthand how powerful her leadership can be, and we’re lucky to have her on our team. She’ll elevate what we do in every way. We’re super excited!”

Farrah will lead portfolio management efforts while also playing a critical role in expanding Haversine’s infrastructure and strategic partnerships, enhancing lender relationships, and contributing to strategic initiatives across the platform. Her operational expertise, combined with her passion for developing talent and strengthening culture, make her a powerful addition to Haversine’s leadership bench.
