Maverick Gaming, an operator of hotel and casino properties, has filed for Chapter 11 protection as part of a restructuring contemplated by a transaction support agreement reached with a majority of its prepetition lenders and its majority shareholder in June 2025. The Chapter 11 process will include pursuing a sale and marketing process for some or all of its assets along with a potential restructuring through a Chapter 11 plan.
