Jeffrey Armstrong joined CapX Partners in the newly created position of director, Bank Markets and Syndications. Armstrong will be responsible for managing the company’s commercial bank referral network for equipment finance transactions as well as launching a Syndications Desk to manage the operations of buying and selling a variety of equipment lease and loan products.

A 25-year banking and leasing professional, Armstrong most recently worked at Beacon Funding, where he created the Bankers Leasing Group and enhanced the company’s syndications function. Prior to that, he held positions at Old Kent Bank (later Fifth Third Bank) and American National Bank (later JPMorgan Chase Bank’s middle market group), where he started his career.
