Carrie Vilaplana has joined Union Bank’s San Diego Wealth Management team as a vice president, private wealth advisor. She reports to Stephen Sherline, private wealth markets executive, Southern California.
Vilaplana is responsible for assisting the bank’s most affluent San Diego area clientele in designing and implementing tailored wealth planning strategies, including investment management, risk management, estate and business planning, banking and loan needs.

Vilaplana comes to the bank with more than 15 years of broad industry experience, including equity research, customized credit and lending and comprehensive wealth planning for high-net worth families in the San Diego market. She has extensive experience in financial services including time with Lehman Brothers in New York City, Wedbush Morgan Securities in Los Angeles and Wells Fargo Private Bank in San Diego.
