Gibraltar Business Capital Adds Pickering as SVP in Atlanta

in People

Mark Pickering joined Gibraltar Business Capital’s business development team as senior vice president. He will be based in Atlanta and cover Georgia, Tennessee, Alabama and Mississippi.

Prior to joining Gibraltar, Pickering spent nine years as a business development officer and principal/senior vice president for Ares Commercial Finance and its predecessor First Capital. Before that, he held Atlanta-based sales and credit roles with SunTrust Bank, Guaranty Business Credit and Fleet Capital. He also established and headed a lender services division for Moore Colson, a regional certified public account and accounting firm in Atlanta.

Since beginning his career as a CPA for KPMG in New York, Pickering has gained more than 25 years of experience in asset-based lending. He has had responsibilities for sales, underwriting, portfolio management and collateral examination.

“All of us at Gibraltar are looking forward to Mark’s contributions to our team and organization. It is an unprecedented time for companies in transition and their advisors right now,” Anthony DiChiara, head of sales for Gibraltar, said. “Mark joins us as an ABL veteran who is able to help us continue to serve these companies and their unique needs while supporting our exceptional client service and growth goals.”

Gibraltar offers credit facility capacity between $2 million and $20 million to serve middle market businesses.
