Gateway Trade Funding, a purchase order and trade financing company, funded a $1 million purchase order facility for personal protective equipment that was referred by a factoring company.
The factoring company had a client that previously sold cleaning products and was looking to diversify due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The client, which is a commercial products company, was looking for financing to accept a purchase order for PPE, so the factoring company turned to Gateway Trade Funding, which provided the client with a $1 million purchase order.
