Audax Private Debt added Bradley Patton as a managing director to oversee capital markets.

Based in New York, Patton will be responsible for leading capital markets and syndication efforts across the Audax Private Debt platform, including unitranche and junior debt investments. He will also continue to expand and cultivate Audax Private Debt relationships across the middle market.

“We are thrilled to have Bradley join us to lead our capital markets. His underwriting expertise and extensive knowledge of the debt capital markets will help us deliver superior financing solutions to our clients,” Kevin Magid, president of Audax Private Debt, said. “His commitment to clients and deep relationships in the industry makes him an excellent fit for our team.”

Patton has more than 20 years of experience in middle-market leveraged finance and capital markets, spanning structuring, originating, underwriting and syndicating debt financings in support of private equity sponsors. Most recently, Patton was a managing director of capital markets at Varagon Capital Partners. He previously held positions at American Capital, BMO Capital Markets, Bank of America and NationsBank.

“I am extremely excited to be joining Audax, which is clearly an exceptional firm with a highly experienced and talented team,” Patton said. “I look forward to leveraging my expertise and helping develop even more sophisticated and tailored financing solutions for the firm’s private equity clients, capital partners and investors.”
