Tom Lynch joined SierraConstellation Partners (SCP) as managing director of the firm’s new Boston office.

“When it comes to turning around companies and helping them navigate complex financial challenges, Tom’s hands-on experience is unimpeachable,” said Larry Perkins, SCP’s founder and CEO. “His expertise is exactly what our clients expect when they are facing bet-the-company scenarios and need an adviser they can trust. We’re honored to have Tom join SCP and are looking forward to his great contributions to our team.”

Lynch has over 25 years’ experience in finance and management. Before joining SCP, he was the managing partner and founder of Woods Hole Capital, an asset management platform utilizing ABL strategies in the consumer sector. Prior to Woods Hole, he was the chairman and CEO of apparel retailer Frederick’s of Hollywood, where he oversaw a six-year turnaround plan which culminated in a successful sale to a private equity buyer.

Earlier in his career, Lynch served as the CEO of a significant global hedge fund with positions on five continents. He also served as a senior executive with Mellon Institutional Asset management.

“I couldn’t be happier to join Larry and the SierraConstellation team,” said Lynch. “The hard-nosed, hands-on work that SCP is known for is exactly the type of work I’ve enjoyed doing throughout my entire career. I’m looking forward to helping SCP build its Boston presence.”

SierraConstellation Partners is an interim management and advisory firm serving middle-market companies that are in transition.
