David Phillips joined Wingspire Capital as managing director in Atlanta. In this role, Phillips will be responsible for business development activities in the Southeast and Texas. Phillips has more than three decades of origination and business development experience in asset-based lending.

Phillips has held senior leadership roles at several finance companies in his career including Wells Fargo Capital Finance (Foothill), CIT Business Credit, Alostar Capital Finance and Heller Financial, and has been responsible for sourcing new deals across various industry verticals, including specialty finance and retail finance.
